Daycare Holiday Program

Ally participated in the Holiday Program at Daycare this year.  This was her 4th program there.  They sang us a few songs and then Santa came to visit.  Ally was really excited to see Santa.

Gingerbread Houses

Ally and Oma make a gingerbread house each year.  This year was no different, other than the fact that Ally now knows those decorations taste good.  She wanted to eat more than decorate.  We are looking forward to next year when Evelyn can join in the fun.

Christmas in the City

Year after year Angie and I drag reluctant Ryan downtown Minneapolis to the Macy’s 8th floor display and Holidazzle parade.  Ba Hum Bug as he would say.  This years theme at Macy’s was The Nutcracker.  We then get all bundled up and brave the weather to watch the parade, which as Ryan says, “its the same every year.”  Us girls enjoy is even with his attitude. It wouldn’t be the same without it.

Geocaching Goal

Ryan made a goal for 2007 to find 100 caches.  We were happy to find it with good friends Dave, Karen, and Lee who joined us in finding most of them this year.

Sunday School Christmas Program

This is Ally’s first year in Sunday School.  For the Christmas Program she was a little sheep in the performance of “Once Upon a Starry Night”.  She did a very good job singing in front of church.  The picture on the left is her 3 year old class, the picture on the right is 3 year olds up through 4th grade.

Esselstrom Christmas Party

A highlight each year for us is the Esselstrom Christmas Party.  Our friends Jacob and Kristen invite us each year to Kristen’s parents house right before Christmas for some holiday cheer.  Ally had fun playing with their daughter Annika.

Ally meets her cousin

Ally has been anxiously awaiting the day she could meet her cousin.  The day finally came and as you can see she couldn’t be more thrilled, Madeleine on the other hand doesn’t look so  thrilled. LOL

Christmas At Oma and Opa’s House

We had fun on Christmas eve celebrating with the MacKay family.  Ally was having  a fun time handing out gifts to everyone.  That is until she opened the Leapster.  She has been glued to it ever since.  Evelyn enjoyed the paper just as much as her presents.

Christmas At Grandma B and Papa’s House

Christmas Day we celebrated with the Buckentin family.  Ally was teased a lot by uncle Jason and enjoyed every minute of it.  Everyone received a camera this year.  I think the girls favorite part of today was exploring what was in their stockings.
